Hints for everyone:

Google Earth - Have you downloaded Google Earth and thought about using it in your curriculum? Visit London in literature studies, or the Louvre in art. Of course, it's great for geography (latitude and longitude anyone?), but have you considered a quick trip and then a descriptive writing lesson?

Word Tips - Are you tired of having to control-click to follow links in word? Go to TOOLS>OPTIONS>EDIT and uncheck Use Control Click to follow Hyperlinks.
Control and roll the mouse roller to increase the size of print on a page. This works for most MS products, including Internet Explorer.

MS Office & Inspiration are available for home use: - Print the form for MS Office or the form for Inspiration, then contact any tech dept. personnel. A $5 deposit is required with the form.

Unwanted spam mail? - To block spam mail that may be coming through LightSpeed's filter, forward the email  to spam@lightspeedsystems.com.

Videos for your curriculum - Check out the United Streaming and PowerMedia Plus websites to download curriculum related resources. When you download a video be sure to save it in Shared Resources: High School: United Streaming.

Exam View Hints - Would you like to create online study guides and tests for students? They are "automagically" graded and the scores are emailed to you.

For Spanish speakers when they are in the computer lab try this setting
In Internet Explorer, click the options button on the toolbar and check Word Translator.
If you don't see it, click the Browsing tab at the top of the window that opened up.
When your mouse hovers over a word, the word is translated into Spanish, (other languages can be chosen)
Since many early English speakers do not understand words they may see on the internet, this gives them one more tool for comprehension.
