Level 1 Information
Level 1 of the tech professional development plan walks you through the very basic skills used on computer systems. You will be enrolled in a basic skills survey course at the beginning of your employment with BISD and will complete that in Eduphoria. This survey will help the tech department plan and implement training for new employees.
Following the survey, which will give you some idea of your own competencies with technology, you will evaluate your current level of tech use and plan for development of technology skills needed as a school district employee. Links below will take you to those files.
Whether you teach in the classroom, support teachers on a campus, or work in one of the offices or special programs, your ability to grow stronger in using computers and their related software is important.
Before you Begin
Make a NEW FOLDER in your H: drive named Tech Staff Dev
Make 4 folders inside it. Name them Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4
Save any files that are for a particular level in the appropriate folder

Basic Skills Survey -- this link takes you to eduphoria! Log in, go to Workshop: My Portfolio. On the Course Registration page, look in the Technology ProfDev section. Locate the Basic Skills Survey for your job description. Register for it, and complete it as instructed.
Evaluate Your Current Level -- complete this and submit it in eduphoria! with the "Plan for the Future" file.
