I grew up in Spearman, TX and graduated from West Texas State University (now WTAMU) in Canyon, TX with my teaching degree.  I taught my first four years at a little 1 A school outside of Abilene called Eula.  Then my husband and I moved to Dalhart, TX, where we taught for  thirteen years.

 

We enjoyed our time there, but our oldest child was graduating, and we were ready for a change (of climate, mostly!).  We moved to Bridgeport last summer and had a great first year in BISD.  I am teaching 4^th grade Math, Science, and Social Studies, and my awesome  teaching partner is Angela VanHoose, who teaches the ELA subjects for our two classes.

 

I have a wonderful husband, Steven, who teaches science at BMS. We have a 19-year-old son, Logan, who is a sophomore in college attending WTAMU in Canyon.  We also have a daughter, Shelbi, who is a freshman at BHS, and another daughter, Laikyn, who is a 4^th grader this year.  We are enjoying living and teaching in Bridgeport.  :o)   Go BULLS!!!
