My name is Michelle Herndon and I have lived in Bridgeport since I was 8 years old and I decided this is where I want to raise my children.

I have been married for 15 years to Keven and we have two wonderful children, Shawn (15) who is a 10^th grader at BHS, and Sadyee (8) who is a 3^rd grader at BIS.

This is my third year to teach for the Bridgeport Intermediate School, but I have been a paraprofessional, as well as a substitute teacher for the district for about 6 years.  I graduated from University of North Texas in 2003 with a B.S. in Criminal Justice.  I have recently graduated from Western Governors University with a post-baccalaureate degree in education and a Master Degree of Arts in Education. 

For enjoyment I like to watch sporting events, go camping with my family, or just read.
