Student, family, and community relations are a priority in Bridgeport ISD. We work closely with students and families to ensure all students have an excellent educational experience.

My child has grown up in BISD and is now a senior, and we have truly loved the experience. I have been with BISD for the past 14 years, and I also love working here because the staff and community feel like family, it’s a blessing to be part of BISD as both a parent and an employee. The staff support one another and the community is close-knit. Being both a parent and an educator here makes BISD extra special to me.

As a student that went to Bridgeport ISD from K-12th grade, when I got my teaching certificate I knew Bridgeport ISD was where I wanted to teach. To have great role models to look up to as a student, I knew I wanted to be another one for future generations.
