Bridgeport ISD offers many opportunities for students to participate in athletics.
The boys field teams in baseball, basketball, cross-country, football, golf, soccer, and track & field. The girls compete in basketball, cross-country, golf, soccer, softball, track & field and volleyball.
In football, Bridgeport competes in district 3-4A, Division 2, soccer competes in district 5-4A.
All other team sports compete in district 7-4A.
