Library Services
Bridgeport ISD Campus Libraries support academic achievement through the acquisition of materials which align to instruction throughout the curriculum.
Parents are the primary decision makers concerning their student's access to library materials. BISD encourages parents to become involved in which materials are acquired for placement in our libraries and maintenance of collections.
We highly encourage parents to access their student's online Destiny account. Instructions on how to sign in are located on the Sign in to Student Destiny Account page.
Library Collection Proposed Purchases
The District will post titles being considered for purchase for library collections for a period of 30 days to allow parental and employee feedback prior to school board approval. To review these proposed purchases, view the Proposed Library Purchases page.
Reconsiderations or Challenges of Library Materials
Requests for reconsideration of a library resource will follow procedures described in policies EFB(LEGAL) and EFB(LOCAL). If needed, utilize the Library Materials Challenge form.
