Scott Hiler: Board of Trustee
Scott Hiler, a small business owner in Bridgeport, has brought commercial, financial and corporate guidance to the Bridgeport ISD Board of Trustees.
Mr. Hiler, who has served as president and vice president of the Bridgeport Chamber of Commerce, has attended numerous school board conferences, including: "Effective School Communications" and "Multi-Generations on the Same Leadership Team."
He was first elected to Place 6 in 2014. As owner of Ink 'N' Stitch, L.L.C., he provides a strong business perspective to the Board and BISD.
Besides being active with the local school district and Chamber, Mr. Hiler is involved with the First United Methodist Church of Alvord where he was the Lay Leader in 2014 and 2015.
Mr. Hiler received his bachelor's degree in Agribusiness from Texas A&M University and his master's degree in finance from the University of North Texas.
He and his wife, Amy Hiler (1994 graduate of Bridgeport High), have three daughters: Dylann, Madilyn and Grace.
