Upcoming: Kindergarten Roundup Event
Join us on Tuesday, May 6, from 4-6 p.m. at Bridgeport Elementary School to learn about Kindergarten in Bridgeport ISD and get your questions answered about the 2025-26 school year!
We highly recommend completing the online registration before attending the event.
Online registration takes approximately 45 minutes. To save time and avoid waiting at the roundup event, please complete your registration in advance from home or at the Bridgeport Public Library. If you choose to register at the event, you can expect to spend nearly an hour at a computer filling out paperwork. If registering at the event, please come prepared with the required documents listed below.
- Student Identification (Birth Certificate)
- Student Social Security Card
- Proof of Residency
- Could be a lease, a utility bill w/address, a recently paid rent receipt, or a recent tax statement
- If currently building in BISD provide a builder's contract showing the projected completion date
- Proof of Income (Most recent pay stubs, SNAP letter, or income tax if self-employed)
- Immunization Records (Must be up-to-date at time of registration)
- Parent Identification (Valid Photo ID; Driver's license, Passport, Permanent Resident Card, or Naturalization Papers)
- Custody Information, if necessary
