Our Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs empower students to graduate with more than just a diploma; they leave with industry-recognized certifications that open doors to high-demand, high-wage careers.

Our students have the opportunity to earn professional credentials across a diverse range of industries, including:
- Arts & Communication: Adobe Premiere Pro
- Health Science: Patient Care Technician
- Education: Educational Aide
- Agriculture & Animal Science: Texas Florist, Veterinary Technician
- Business: Social Media Marketing
- Skilled Trades: Welding (Sheet Metal) and Automotive Service Excellence (ASE)
A Season of Student Success
The fall semester has already seen our students hitting major milestones. Three students earned their Adobe Premiere Pro certifications, while five students secured multiple ASE certifications, proving their expertise in automotive technology.
Beyond the classroom, our FFA chapters continue to be a powerhouse of skill and leadership, representing Bridgeport with pride in competitions across the state.
Advancing to the State and National Stage
Our Education and Training pathway is currently seeing historic success. Recently, 20 students traveled to Tarleton State University to compete in the Area Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) competition.
- Seven students advanced to the State level across eight different events.
- These future educators are now vying for a spot at the National Competition in Portland, Oregon.
A Tradition of Excellence
Success at Bridgeport is a long-term trend, not a fluke. Over the past five years, 10 BHS students have advanced to national-level competitions, including one team that brought home a National Championship. Through rigorous instruction and high expectations, Bridgeport High School is ensuring that every student is prepared to lead, compete, and succeed in the modern workforce.
