Bridgeport ISD is dedicated to maintaining the financial health of the district and modeling accountability. One of the district’s core beliefs is that high expectations lead to high levels of success. This belief applies to our students, staff and financial operations of the district. The Board of Trustees has set a goal that the district will demonstrate fiscal responsibility and communicate financial information to our stakeholders. 

For the ninth year in a row, Bridgeport ISD has received a Superior Achievement rating from the Texas Education Agency regarding financial operation. Superior is the highest rating that can be achieved in this field. Bridgeport ISD has passed this FIRST rating since its inception. The district worked closely with TEA on data reporting, independent audit findings, debt payments, fund balance growth, cash management, administrative cost ratio, data quality, instances of non-compliance, and school board involvement in the budget process during the evaluation process.
